Wedding Wishes Square Card

Spring and summertime brings so many opportunities for creating cards for weddings! Our nephew and his lovely bride-to-be recently tied the knot, so I got to break out the sappy wedding and love stamps to create a card for them.

After rummaging through my stamp stash I came up with these three things. Honey Bee Stamps (Everything Wonderful), Colorado Craft Co. (Large Love Quotes) and rubber block stamp by Stampendous (Happy Couple from 2005).

I stamped the floral image on some cream colored confetti card-stock. I colored the image with COPIC art markers. I added a sentiment as well and mounted to a card base.

First off, my apologies for the terrible photos. I wanted to add some sparkle to this and used the Wink of Stella glitter brush. I experienced a technical difficulty that results in a huge glob to come out all at once! So lots of glitter!

Here’s the finished product in a bit better light after the glitter dried.
